FPL Chip Planner
Fantasy Premier League's four chips are one-off tools — playing one at the wrong time can waste it for the season. Here's what each one does, and how Tactixity's season plan times them against your fixtures.
The four chips
- Wildcard — unlimited free transfers for one gameweek; the changes you make stay in your squad afterward.
- Free Hit — unlimited free transfers for one gameweek only; your squad reverts to how it was the next gameweek.
- Bench Boost — your four bench players' points count toward your total for one gameweek.
- Triple Captain — your captain scores triple points instead of double for one gameweek.
How Tactixity times them
Chip timing depends on your specific fixtures — double gameweeks, blank gameweeks, and how your squad's fixture difficulty shifts across the season. Tactixity's Season Plan, part of the subscription, generates a chip timing plan for your own squad across the full season, alongside weekly captain, transfer and differential guidance.
No dedicated free chip tool exists yet — try the free captain and transfer scan instead, or see the subscription for full season chip planning.
